What are the Effects of Traumatic Brain Injury in Children?

Dan Brian   |  April 22, 2017   |

The effects of traumatic brain injury in children are difficult for not only the child, but the entire family. Many parents worry about what will happen to their child when he or she grows up, and what will happen to the child when the parents are gone. In this video, brain injury lawyer Gene Riddle remembers a case of a child with TBI and how a lawsuit improved the quality of her life. Although nothing can truly make up for what happened, a lawsuit can ease financial worries and ensure the child is able to afford necessary medical attention and long-term care.

We also handle traumatic brain injuries for children. And as with the breadwinner of the family, they are extremely sad and extremely difficult. Because you see the rest of the family suffer with the child. I remember one case where a child was so badly injured that she was almost in a vegetative state. And that was an extremely sad case. It’s one that I will remember for the rest of my life. And I was so glad that my firm was able to successfully able to recover sufficient compensation to take care of her medical needs the rest of her life. And the good news is this child, 20 years later, is still alive. Please give us a call or send us an email. We’re here. We’re ready to help. Justice Counts.
