Team Riddle & Brantley Raises Over $2,000 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Following up a previous blog post about this event, on November 5, our attorneys and staff participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the Johnston County region. We are proud to announce that Team Riddle & Brantley raised $2,001.72 for the fight against Alzheimer’s.
We would like to give a special shout out to Kay Anderson, who led our team’s fundraising efforts and raised the most money. Kay raised $668 to combat Alzheimer’s disease. The money raised during Walk to End Alzheimer’s goes toward Alzheimer’s research, support and treatment. In addition to raising funds, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s raises awareness about this devastating disease.
There was a wonderful turnout for the event, which was held at Barbour’s Grove Park in Four Oaks, North Carolina. The route for the walk was 1.5 miles long and the walk began at 11:30 am after pre-race ceremony, which kicked off at 11 am. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a nationwide event that takes place in around 600 communities around the country.
