Riddle & Brantley Wins 2014 Litigator Award from Trial Lawyers Board of Regents
The law firm of Riddle & Brantley was honored by the Trial Lawyers Board of Regents as a 2014 Litigator Awards Winner.
The Litigators Awards are presented to an exclusive group of attorneys and law firms who have achieved million, multi-million, or billion dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of their clients. Each year, approximately 12 law firms per state or region are awarded this prestigious honor.
The awards are presented in up to 72 different areas of practice. Riddle & Brantley was presented with the 2014 Litigator Award for North Carolina in the following categories:

Notable cases which qualified Riddle & Brantley for this award included a $7,850,000 class action lawsuit after a chemical explosion at a waste management facility, a $5 million civil rights verdict for women sexually abused by a Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy, and a $3 million judgment after the wrongful death of a nursing home resident who contracted Hepatitis B as a result of the facility’s negligence. These cases are in addition to the hundreds of thousands of dollars Riddle & Brantley won on behalf of clients injured in auto accidents, workplace accidents, and slip-and-fall cases.
