Toyota Issues Recall to Fix Airbag Problem
A plastic trim piece can interfere with the side airbags in the Crew-Max and Double Cab versions of the Toyota Tundra.
In response, Toyota has recalled about 140,000 of the full-sized Tundra pickup trucks.
According to Toyota, the plastic trim may keep airbags from inflating to their intended shape. While the company is not currently aware of any injuries or accidents caused by the defect, dealers will inspect and replace the trim in any affected vehicles.
Truck owners can expect to be notified of the recall by mail. For more information on this story, go to: http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?feed=AP&date=20140911&id=17926080.
