JUUL Suspends Sale of Fruit-Flavored “Pods” in Canada
JUUL, North America’s largest e-cigarette manufacturer, will suspend sales of its fruit-flavored vaping products in Canada as the company continues to grapple with increasing legal and political scrutiny for its role in the vaping epidemic.
JUUL is accused of deliberately targeting underage youth with “fun” flavors like mango, cucumber and vanilla. The company is facing hundreds of JUUL lawsuits alleging that its potential negligence contributed to thousands of cases of nicotine addiction and EVALI — “e-cigarette and vaping product associated lung injury.”
The CDC reports that EVALI cases have resulted in more than 50 deaths across the United States in recent months.

In late 2019, the Food and Drug Administration announced that flavored vaping products would be banned in the United States, although tobacco and menthol flavors were granted a controversial exception.
Increasing legal and political scrutiny comes as FDA research revealed that roughly 25 percent of American high schoolers reported vaping within the last 30 days in 2019.
Do you qualify for a JUUL lawsuit?
If you or a loved one has used JUUL e-cigarettes and suffered lung injury or illness (EVALI) or even death, you may have a case for compensation — and you deserve justice.
If JUUL knowingly targeted minors with deceptive marketing, “fun” flavors and easily concealable vaping devices, we believe that’s wrong and this company must be held accountable.
