Meet North Carolina Workers’ Comp Attorney Chris Brantley

Gene Riddle   |  March 7, 2017   |

When you have a workers’ comp claim, you should obtain legal advice as soon as possible. Sometimes, a person does not need an attorney to file a workers’ comp claim, and we will tell you that and help point you in the right direction. Other times, the case has complications and may even have additional avenues for relief, such as a third party claim. At our office, we offer attorney consultations for injured workers at no cost and with no obligation. In this video, workers’ compensation attorney and law firm partner Chris Brantley introduces himself and explains how he is a specialist in North Carolina for workers’ comp claims. The best part? If you do decide to retain an attorney for your claim, it does not cost more in attorney fees to hire a specialist like Chris than it would be to hire a regular lawyer.

My name is Chris Brantley. I’m an attorney. I’m a partner with Riddle and Brantley. I’ve been practicing law since 1993. I grew up in Goldsboro. Was raised here. Went to school at Goldsboro High School. I went to undergrad at NC State University and graduated from East Carolina University. Got my law degree from Campbell University in 1993. And through a series of fortunate events, I ended up practicing with the firm here, and here I am, ever since. I primarily do workers’ compensation law. I was one of the first board certified specialist in workers’ compensation. I became a specialist in 2000. That was he first year they offered it. It’s a very rigorous program. You have to get referrals from at least 10 different attorneys who do workers’ compensation. You have to show a certain amount of practice in the area and that’s what I’ve done ever since. I try to spend as much time as I can with my family. I have a wife and two beautiful daughters. I like to work out, exercise. I play guitar some. Try to play some sports. Like to snow ski in the winter and just try to remain as active as possible. Please give us a call or send us an email. We’re here. We’re ready to help. Justice Counts.
