Full Time Receptionist/Intake Specialist

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Engaging phone presence and ability to reflect empathy, while maintaining a high level of professionalism;
  • Outstanding listening skills with an ability to play back what’s been said;
  • Promptly respond to potential client calls and web-based inquiries;
  • Take detailed, legible notes;
  • Input and maintain client data;
  • Calendaring appointments.
  • Organized;
  • Self-Motivated;
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus but not required;
  • Prior office and/or law firm experience preferred.

Qualifications

Paralegal

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery responses while ensuring accuracy through meticulous proofreading and editing.
  • Manage legal case files using our document management system Litify.
  • Schedule mediations, depositions, and hearings, and ensure we have court reporters, translators, etc. in place as appropriate.
  • Work with expert witnesses, such as accident reconstructionists, independent medical experts, economists, and life care planners.
  • Coordinate filings with court personnel in state and federal courts, as well as the Industrial Commission.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Paralegal in a Personal Injury firm, preferably Plaintiff’s side.
  • This is an in-office position; not a work-from-home position.

Litigation Paralegal

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$45,000 - $60,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments
  • Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court
  • Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.)
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
  • Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
  • Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
  • Help with voir dire, jury selection and witnesses preparation
  • Provide assistance with case settlements

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years proven working experience as a Personal Injury litigation paralegal
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
  • Extensive computer and database expertise
  • Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification

Pay will be commensurate with your skills and experience.

Bilingual Administrative Assistant

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$11 - $16 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Make and respond to phone calls related to medical bill balances.
  • Write and distribute balance summaries to the responsible case manager.
  • Maintain contact lists.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
