Social Security Legal Assistant

How I help our clients: I am a legal assistant for the Social Security and Veteran’s Disability Department. I help our clients by processing prospective client intakes, I assist with the filing of the appropriate documents for Social Security claims, I correspond with the Social Security Administration to obtain claims specific information, and I assist the Social Security Team with all aspects of hearing preparation.

Background: I have obtained two Associate’s Degrees. These degrees were obtained from Vance Granville Community College in Applied Science Criminal Justice Technology and Miller-Motte College in Paralegal Studies. I have experience as a Family Law Paralegal and a Personal Injury Paralegal.

Why I like working at Riddle & Brantley: Working at Riddle and Brantley feels like I am working alongside family. I enjoy my role as a Legal Assistant and my job responsibilities meeting the needs of our clients. I enjoy the support of the staff who are dedicated and passionate about securing benefits for each of our clients.

What I like to do in my free time: I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks with my dog and watching movies. I also enjoy time traveling and shopping.
