Alex Riddle joined Riddle & Brantley in 2020 as a personal injury lawyer handling all types of injury cases throughout North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2020 and joined the firm immediately after passing the North Carolina State Bar. She is particularly interested in civil rights law. In 2021, Alex was recognized as a National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” attorney.

Prior to attending law school, Alex earned her B.A. degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Distinction.

A Passion for Justice

Alex is a passionate advocate for justice for all. Before joining the firm, Alex volunteered for the Innocence Project, helping find ways for those who maintain their innocence to appeal their cases. She has also worked for an immigration law clinic, and has significant experience working with Spanish-speaking clients and interpreters.

She previously clerked for Judge Allen Baddour in Superior Court.

Alex is the daughter of founding attorney and managing partner Gene Riddle and a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Other Interests

When she’s not advocating on behalf of injured North Carolinians, Alex enjoys barre, cycling, and anything related to UNC basketball. Alex also has a beloved dog, Roscoe, that she rescued as a sophomore in high school.
