Do you qualify for a Roundup cancer lawsuit?
Have you been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL) or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) after exposure to Roundup? The active ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate — a known carcinogen, meaning it can cause cancer. If you’ve been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia after exposure to Roundup, you may be entitled to significant financial compensation and be eligible for a Roundup lawsuit.
Our experienced Roundup lawyers may be able to help.
There is never any obligation and you won’t pay any attorney fees unless we win your case and you receive financial compensation.
Our attorneys have more than 190 years of combined legal experience fighting for victims of negligence and have recovered over $850 million in compensation for clients since 2000 alone (see disclaimer below). We would love to help you and your loved ones if we can.
IMPORTANT: While most Roundup lawsuits have already settled (or are in settlement negotiations), there is still time to file a Roundup claim provided the case meets certain criteria. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia after exposure to Roundup, please call 1-800-525-7111 today for a free consultation.
May 2025 Update
As of May 2025, litigation surrounding Roundup weedkiller—linked to claims of non-Hodgkin lymphoma due to its active ingredient glyphosate—continues to evolve with several major developments:
- Over 100,000 Claims Settled, But Thousands Remain: Bayer, the parent company of Monsanto, has settled approximately 100,000 Roundup lawsuits for around $11 billion. However, about 67,000 claims remain active, including more than 4,400 cases in federal multidistrict litigation.
- Massive Jury Verdicts Signal Ongoing Risk: In March 2025, a Georgia jury awarded $2.1 billion to a plaintiff who developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma after long-term Roundup use. This verdict is one of the largest to date and highlights the continued legal and financial risks Bayer faces in court.
- Bayer Pursues Legal Shielding Strategies: Bayer is seeking protection from future lawsuits by petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to rule that federal pesticide labeling laws override state-level failure-to-warn claims. The company is also supporting state legislation aimed at limiting its liability, with some laws already passed and others under consideration.
- Potential Withdrawal of Glyphosate Products: In response to mounting legal challenges, Bayer has announced it may stop selling glyphosate-based products in the U.S. unless granted broader legal immunity. The company has already reformulated its residential Roundup products to exclude glyphosate but continues supplying it for agricultural use.
Why 2025 Is a Critical Year for Roundup Lawsuits
With new settlements being negotiated and courts actively scheduling trials, 2025 may be one of the last opportunities for victims to seek justice. Bayer has expressed interest in resolving more cases but continues to resist paying full value on many claims. Our team is prepared to fight for maximum compensation for North Carolina clients who have suffered life-altering diagnoses.
Allegations in Roundup Lawsuits
Roundup is the world’s most popular herbicide, and is commonly used by agriculture and landscaping workers to kill weeds. Despite its popularity and effectiveness, however, Roundup contains glyphosate, a potentially dangerous ingredient that the World Health Organization (WHO) has classified as “probably carcinogenic,” meaning that it may cause cancer in humans.
Roundup is manufactured by Bayer AG, which purchased the original manufacturer, Monsanto, in 2018 for $66 billion.
Bayer AG continues to maintain that Roundup is safe.
Despite the company’s denials, however, more than 150,000 Roundup lawsuits have been filed alleging that Roundup causes cancer, particularly non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
We will review and investigate your claim and advise you on your best available legal options. You may qualify for a Roundup lawsuit and be entitled to compensation.
While many Roundup cancer lawsuits have settled, it is not too late to file a claim — but you should act fast. The longer you wait to file your Roundup lawsuit, the harder it may be to prove your claim, and potential settlements on the horizon may lock you out of the compensation you need and deserve.
What is Glyphosate?
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is an herbicide, meaning that it kills plants. Many scientific studies have concluded that glyphosate (as contained in Roundup) probably causes cancer.
In 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a division of the World Health Organization, released a study that determined there was “sufficient evidence for the carcinogenicity of glyphosate in experimental animals.”
The same report determined that glyphosate is most likely “genotoxic,” meaning that it can modify genes, damaging DNA and potentially causing cancer. According to the IARC, evidence for genotoxicity is "strong."
Glyphosate and its potential connection to cancer remain controversial, however. In 2020, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) re-approved glyphosate for use in the U.S. market, claiming that there is “insufficient evidence that glyphosate plays a role in any human diseases.”

Roundup Settlements
Juries have awarded billions of dollars in compensation in Roundup cancer lawsuits to groundskeepers and agricultural workers who allege that the weed killer caused their cancer.
In 2020, Bayer AG settled tens of thousands of Roundup lawsuits in a universal settlement totaling more than $10 billion. $9.6 billion was designated for potential victims in the current litigation, and another $1.25 billion was set aside for future claims. While compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis based on a system of “tiers,” legal analysts expect that many Roundup lawsuit plaintiffs can expect between $5,000 and $250,000.
The settlement is one of the largest in U.S. history. Quoted in the New York Times, Nora Freeman Engstrom, a professor at Stanford University School of Law, said that “It’s rare that we see a consensual settlement with that many zeros on it.”
As part of the settlement, Bayer AG admitted no wrongdoing and continues to insist that Roundup is safe.
Roughly 125,000 Roundup cancer claims were covered by the 2020 settlement, however, some plaintiffs have decided not to join the settlement and litigation remains ongoing.
Bayer has actually set aside an additional $4.5 billion for potential future Roundup settlements.
