Our client, a pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle while walking along the road, resulting in serious injuries, including a laceration to the head, a TBI and a fractured femur. Due to the extent of the injuries, our client was airlifted to the emergency room for immediate care. After diligent negotiations, the case was settled without having to file a lawsuit, for the policy limits of $250,000. This was the maximum amount of insurance available.
