- There was a car accident in Granville County on Thanksgiving night where two people died after being hit by a tractor-trailer. The crash occurred on Interstate 85 between Butner and Oxford.
- A motorist died on Friday morning after colliding with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Highway 401 and Meadow Drive.
- On Friday night, a speeding motorist lost control of his vehicle and crashed through a home in Raleigh. An occupant in the home, who was a former US Marine with two children, died during the crash. According to police, they were trying to pull over the driver for speeding. The 19-year-old driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
- There was a fatal accident on Interstate 440 on Friday morning. A motorist died after crashing into the back a flatbed tractor-trailer.
- An accident on Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh resulted in four minors suffering injuries. According to police, the teenage driver was ejected from the vehicle. All four minors were rushed to WakeMed Hospital.
- There was a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Raeford on Thanksgiving morning. Police later apprehended the driver and charged her with DWI and multiple other crimes.
