Stanly County school bus accident leaves 17 injured
At least 17 people were injured when a Head Start school bus overturned in Stanly County, North Carolina. Police say the accident occurred after a truck driver ran through a stop sign.
The injuries in the Stanly County school bus accident are considered “non-life-threatening” according to police.
The crash occurred on Quail Ridge Road near Highway 52, just outside Charlotte, North Carolina.
Charlotte TV station WSOC reports that the truck driver is expected to face criminal charges.
