Is Truck Driver Error Always the Cause of 18 Wheeler Accidents?
Our law firm has represented many victims of trucking accidents over the years, and we have seen truck driver error be the cause of 18 wheeler accidents. In our experience, the vast majority of the individual truck drivers are hard-working people who generally follow the rules of the road.
However, sometimes trucking companies do not give them the support or training they need, and sometimes companies push drivers to stretch the limits of trucking regulations for profit. In this video, truck wreck lawyer Gene Riddle explains that while most commercial drivers follow all the rules of the road and special regulations for the industry, it only takes one to cause a tragic accident.
In my past experience, of handling wrecks caused by tractor-trailers and large trucks, I do think there’s a lot of pressure on the driver or operator of the tractor-trailer in the truck, and I have a lot of sympathy for those guys. And it’s very important to also note that not all tractor-trailer drivers, not all truck drivers are bad guys, okay most of them and I mean most of them, are very good drivers, very concerned about following the rules of the road, very concerned about following federal laws, very concerned about following all laws. And to, to a large extent, most of those drivers do that. There’s a saying, you know: sometimes you get bad apples, and there’s always a bad apple in the bunch.
Those are the type of tractor-trailer wrecks we want to help with, when somebody violates the law, violates the rule of the road. We want to help our clients resolve those cases on a, on a fair system. Please give us a call or send us an email. We’re here, we’re ready to help. Justice counts.
